Piercing care for good healing
Piercing care for proper healing
Wondering about the healing process and care for your piercing? After healing and long-term? Here are some tips to guide you:

Good practices:
- Never handle the piercing without washing your hands first.
- Do not sleep on your piercing or twist/move it.
- Do not remove the jewelry before the recommended time frame.
- Do not forget the daily treatment.
Basic care: Simple and daily hygiene
Clean your piercing with saline solution once a day. Let the saline solution act for a few minutes then dry the area with a clean, dry non-woven compress, for a period of 3 weeks.
Some additional tips:
It is essential to always wash your hands thoroughly before touching the piercing, the jewelry, and the surrounding area, and to touch it as little as possible.
You can rinse your piercing with lukewarm water and then with saline solution to help small scabs detach without pulling or tearing them off.
Dry it with a non-woven compress; we strongly advise against using cotton or woven compresses, which will leave unwanted material that will accumulate on the piercing.
Tongue piercing:
- Use alcohol-free mouthwash after each meal for 2 weeks (2/3 times a day maximum).
- Always respect the dilution indicated on the bottle.
- Do not use the product more than recommended, as it could irritate the oral microbiota in the long term.
Lips and Labret:
Follow all previous instructions for both the external and internal parts of the mouth.
