Mylène Obscurae
Mylène, also known as Mimi the little mouse, has been tattooing for 15 years in total and for 6 years at the shop!
She discovered the world of tattooing at 17 during an observation internship in a tattoo shop in Belgium, a decisive experience that led her to this profession and to her very first tattoo: an...uncertain tribal😗
Her universe is mainly focused on blackwork with touches of dotwork nourished by neo-traditional inspirations; she also enjoys working with Greek statues, powerful and expressive bodies.
Among the artists who inspire her are Bobavhett and Rebecca Blair, and outside of tattooing, Mylène practices crochet and lifts weights daily!
She does not tattoo the throat, an area she considers particularly uncomfortable. What she particularly likes to tattoo are portraits, historical Greek inspirations (statues, amphorae, etc.), furry animals, and more broadly any design achievable in her style.
For inspirations, she recommends Chattam's The Trilogy of Evil, Hieronymus Bosch's paintings in general, and the movie Interstellar.
